Hey Steven I just played Thorek Ironbrow for the first time. He worked out well, I used the ancient power that allowed 2d6 str 4 hits on d3 units a few times and missed it once (thank god for the reroll of special char). I also used the ancient power of allowing me to not test for fear and terror and reroll failed break and panic test.
If you are to use the anvil with out the character. You might consider having a reroll. _________________ Armies I own

Well the way i see it is that you can use the Rune Lord and teh anvil and still pile runes on the lord and a runesmith to help against the enemy magic like the SpellEater Rune, Master Rune of Balance, and a couple other runes to get rid of enemy spells and such.
