Do you have something against running 3x cards in your deck? Nearly everything in your lists is 1x or 2x. Fix it. The increased number of certain cards will allow you to draw the best cards more often; it also forces you to use less variance in the deck, and this increases consistency.

For "Who Needs Skill?” what good is United We Stand? You are a beat down deck, you should be swarming and/or hitting with a huge beater. The bonus isn’t needed. Plus if someone kills the monster it’s a 2 for 1 in their favor. Don't run it.

How many vanilla monsters are you running in this deck? I see too many. Effect monster are very good, use them. The wolf- he's vanilla, drop him for someone who can fill a better role.

Why don't you only run a few decks to help you get the numbers you need. If you need 3x CARDNAME in a deck for each deck and only own 6, make one deck. So I suggest you cannibalize the weakest deck you have to help the others.

Or, buy a lot of packs from Bill.

Yeah, do that to help him, and bring new decks to the tournaments. It's a better idea.

here are my fixes i mentioned to you in the other thread.

-1 sangan
-1 mole

+1 fossil
+1 Tyranno (you pick one you like)

this will give you more big dinos to draw and more fossils to get them out free with just like you wanted. in addition to which if you want to go for even more big dino stuff i would drop the rushes and perhaps something else for reasoning/monster gate.

Charlie, we talked at the tournament about focusing on a deck and working with just that one deck in particular. I have decided you should focus solely on the Harpie deck. with that in mind I came up with some fixes for the deck and I know that you won't have all of the cards for these so it will you will have to actually put effort into and focus on this deck alone.
Please also note these fixes are made so the deck stays at 40 cards. If you don’t mind it going to 41 or even 42 please say so and we can work in some other fixes.

-2 Swift Birdman Joe
-2 Harpie Lady Sisters
-1 Flying Kimikari
-1 Elegant Egotist
-1 Pot of Avarice
-1 Sakuretsu Armor

+2 Raiza the Storm Monarch
+1 Birdface
+1 Harpie Queen
+1 Enemy Controller/Brain Control
+1 Mirror Force
+1Hysteric Party
+1Ring of Destruction

If you don’t care for this set of fixes I have another set we can work with as an alternate.

Focusing on harpies sounds like a great idea, but I don't have an extra Harpie Queen or a pair of Raiza. I have the rest of the cards to make it work though. I will try my best to get an extra Queen and a pair of Raizas.

Also, I don't care if the deck goes over 40 cards as long as the deck is playable and competitive.

Thanks again, Begley

For it to be competitive you need it to be 40 cards. More cards decrease your odds of drawing the better cards at the right time. With a 40 card deck and 3x of your best cards (excluding restricted ones) you can draw a given card in every 13 cards, roughly. When you increase that number to 41 you will draw it about every 14 cards. That doesn't seem like a lot, but if the card to win the game is the NEXT card, it doesn’t help you. The thinner the deck the better the chances of drawing you better cards.

Keep close to 40 cards and run the maximum number of each card. This will allow you to draw your best cards at higher frequency so that you will be able to use them best.

One final note: Be harsh when cutting cards. Even if you love the card and it won you a game here and there, cut it for the card that is better. Don't "what if?" the card. Use logic to find the most likely situations and see how useful that card is. Then select the card that is best.
