Hey guys,

When & where on Friday do you game? Do you have room for a Halfling Rogue? My current group meets far less often than we had intended, so if I could get into a second group that meets more often that'd be great.

I started learning 4e back around October & we played a few sessions since then. Before that, I hadn't played in 15 or 20 years, but D&D always held a special place for me.

If you've got an opening & our schedules work out, that'd be great.

Maybe, but we're in Pennsylvania. I asked Bill if we could use these forums when I went to college. If you're attending York College I think we could work you in, but if you're in Jersey it would be kind of hard.

Gadzooks...Pennsylvania! Yeah, I live about a 2-minute walk from the Atlantic Ocean, so I don't think that's happening, lol.

Thanks for replying.

Sorry, I forgot to put that in the title. I did it for the other campaign that I'm in. You could try some of the other shops near the shore since Bill had to close up.

The players set out from the city on the quest given to them by the king. On the fifth night of their travels a group of wererats attacked them. the PCs were able to kill the group of dire rats, humans, and wererats but at a dangerous cost: two party members and a horse contracted filth fever.

The PCs managed to cure most of the party, went to the keep and found what appears to be the kobold base. They went undergound fought off one group and took the collection of equipment to the cart. They then set out again and have just crossed the fey water caverns within this cave's depths.

With the masterful warlock leading the party with his vast repertoire of unfathomable spells and keen insight, the group plunges into the dungeon destroying all who oppose them and.... *catches the look from the DM*..... and they are very modest in their victories, often having to lick their wounds after challenging and brilliantly made encounters....

Yes, destroying all who oppose you indeed. How many times did the fighter or ranger lose consciousness? Perhaps the group should have bought more potions?

I will try to be more descriptive with combat, and soon there will be more NPC interactions for anyone looking for less "roll-play" and more "role-play". I also think that it's actually great the someone had the cart since all that loot would have been lost. It may be near worthless but selling off a ton of hide armor and spears won't exactly be for nothing.

Our group of adventurers succeeded in eliminating all of the kobolds in the old keep. But in doing so they angered the black dragon in the caves. The group fled and ended up leading the angry dragon to the town. This did not go over well with King Sevryn. So he's sending them to the front of the army of darkness that is pounding on his nation's door.

They have a few hours to get stuff in town before they go. If they do not report in time. They will die.

The warlock didn't understand that looting the tiny dungeon treasure chest upstairs from the dragon's lair would piss off the dragon enough to make it hunt us for two weeks. Contents of the chest weren't even worth 320gp total. What a stingy-ass dragon.

Maybe we should pay more attention to the monster knowledge checks that say that certain kobolds work for dragons.

This Friday we may be able to play for a longer amount of time. The many different activities that normally occur after our session for me have been canceled this week.

This week our heroes(?) were able to sneak through the marshes full of lizard folk and slay the dragon while it slept. They also had several fights along the way and in the final battle Sapheres the cleric of the Raven Queen fell to a Lizardfolk spear. Now our heroes must lick their wounds and bring their fallen comrade back to their captain. One can only wonder how the proud eladrin will react.

Is it okay if I have a sling as well as an axe? And how am I going to get integrated back in the party?
